MountBrew is a coffee roastery and training lab serving specialty coffee from different highlands of Nepal. We roast specialty red Bourbon and yellow Caturra grown under organic principles.
We visit coffee farms and build relationships with producers. We support small farmers by paying premium prices and guiding them to produce specialty coffee.
Our farmers are from many ethnic groups; Rai, Magars, Gurung, Limbu, Tamang, Sherpa, Chhetri, Brahman, and more. Almost all have their own native languages and cultures but also speak the national language.
Most MountBrew farmers grow coffee under shade alongside avocado, orange, jackfruit, guava, banana, lychee, and papaya. These provide another income source and food for improved nutrition. Farms also have bees for honey, income, and pollination of coffee plants.
We aim to improve the quality of life for our specialty coffee farmers. We are also dedicated to connecting customers and farmers to promote a coffee culture.
MountBrew aims to:
